My cousin is 25 and is 2 inches shorter than me and 10 lbs lighter, and he fucks up guys over twice his size. My dad is the same way. So am i, but my anger is more easily controlled than them. I mosh regardless whos in the pit.. all i care about is losing my teeth. I can get knocked out or break a bone or 5, but those all heal. I lose a tooth, ima look like a hick for the rest of my life.

that was the first pit i actually didnt stay in the whole time after feeling a 300pound dms dudes leg hit the back of my neck in about the first 30 seconds during set it off.
then again im only 17, guess i gotta wait a few years ;)

lol. There are these 2 black dudes who come to shows here and hit harder than most of the guys in dms. Gotta have respect for the black guys like that.

They've been around since the dawn of hardcore. They pretty much started out as punk just like Agnostic Front and were both essentially one of the foundations to the nyhc movment. But yeah, also very influential.

Dude, check your facts.

Madball started playing in 1988, nearly a decade after "the dawn of hardcore." I know, they are pretty much the godfathers of the classic NYHC sound but there were a lot of bands from that area who released influental records before them.

freddy madball did some other shit before they were known as madball, not including the fact that early madball was essentially agnostic front. Friend had a tape with freddy doing vocals on it when he was really young, before madball. Thats all i can really remember about it. If i can get him to convert it to cd, ill try to post it up here. doubt it though.

And yes I'm aware there were more bands than just Madball at the begining. Alot more. But madball is one of the few that is still around, like Agnostic Front, etc..
