You cant really just say "whos the best guitarest?" because every guitarist whos really good, is normally really good with their chosen genre...
Like for example, Jimmy hendrix, eric clapton, jimmy page (guitarist of zeppelin) were all extremely talented guitar players but could never play like, alex laiho(cob), Corey Beaulieu(trivium) or eveen syn gates
all different styles of playing

Well there is really no best at anything... but heres a damn good guitarist doing what he does best!

He wrote some of his greatest stuff with them, REGARDLESS OF OPINION ON AXL FUCKIN ROSE - Slash has been consistantly awesome, then got MORE awesome with his solo album - and hopefully will achieve another level of awesome with the new album he's working on
