Svartermetalisk: Thanks for contributing, great to see some support!

Babymezzy: ColdWorld is great, i've considered buying Melancholie2, for a long time, i might do it soon. Gris is also one great band, i've not heard much from them (him?), but what i've heard is great.

Mattd90: Thanks for contributing, i have not had the chance to listen to it yet, but i will do that, when i am finished with school for today.

Heretoir - Trümmerwelten, from the compilation album, The World Comes To An End, In the End of a Journey. Great atmosphere, and silent melancholy.

Alcest - Sur De L'ocean Couleur De Fer, from the album Écailles De Lune.

Soon version 2 of this thread, as it will be closed in 2 days... Sorry for the late update(s), but it is hard to remember, with both school, chemotherapy and daily life.

Hope you all enjoyed this thread, see you in version 2! There will be other genres than metal, though, as it is hard to find metal songs like these.

Lifelover - Alltid - Aldrig (Forever - Never, in English). I always listen to this song, when I am finished with something... Well, sometimes tough things, but also when I have to say goodbye to something great. This will be the last song on this thread, as it will be closed tomorrow.

Remember to track the next topic! Thanks to everyone for contributing, and all who have listened!

I will end by translating this song to English:

I sit and shake
Happiness and despair, all mixed up
Just like water mixed with the sweetest juice
The strangling grip that life has around my neck
Has for a moment let go, and I can finally breathe
For the first time in what I have known,
As an eternity, I am finally happy
Worned out, but at the same time relieved.

I shiver in an euphoria, which is tearing and scratching me,
it will drag me from here, to a place
Where the light and the shadows lives together in harmony
And dances the waltz of life with me till death

Come and dance with me, let us sing together
Skipping around on the beaches, laughing
and for a moment just exist
For nothing, just for nothing
The total loss
Of everything, is just everything, just now, just then
Always, never!

Empyrium - Under Dreamskies

Sorry for that great fail, haha (Thought the topic would get closed, but it was my tracking of the topic that would end...)

Glad to see there are some fellow fans of Shining here. They're definitely one of my favorites. Following the theme of Suicidal/Depressive though, I have a few:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNa6t0SnLLc

Strid - End of Life (this is pretty much the pinnacle of this genre)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xF8n3xnJVkQ

Silencer - Death Pierce Me (another absolute masterpiece. a must listen for anyone who loves this genre)

Some other bands that I don't feel like finding videos for: Weakling, TotalSelfHatred, Burzum (obv), Windbruch, Pensees Nocturnes, Rodus Merte. That's just to name a few small few. If anyone wants any more of this, I've got loads of it.

I like everything you've posted, GamerofDK.

Not a very DSBM band but this song and one other is pretty damn DSBM.

This is my favorite song by Leviathan, and it certainly qualifies as DSBM.
