One of the only metal'n roll band that I know: Volbeat. It's metal music, but there are some influences from rock'n roll which make this music bouncing, with nice riffs. It makes you move your head at least... :)

One of the best belgian guitarist, one of the best in the fingerpicking style, one of the rare european guys who have a Martin guitar of their name... Stotzem... <3
Here with Andre Klenes, in a beautiful piece.

Some nu-jazz, discovered on the Hotel Costes compilations... The sound, the mixture of samples, the repetitive "I don't want no jive"... This track is a exhilarating mix for mind.

A Swedish post-rock band for today. On the footsteps of "Godspeed you! Black Emperor", with less strange/committed monologues/dialogues in the background... Maybe a bit easier for newcomers in post-rock.

Clearly one of my favorite discoveries of this year... So sweet... The jazzy-lounge ambiance, the ethereal voice, the clarinet, the rhodes piano... Everything is so smooth. This song can bring me a smile when I'm sad but still it doesn't make me forget why I'm sad... :o

Dub FX is a street artist who gets his influences in reggae, dub, hip-hop, and even sometimes jazz. He record his voice with loop stations and make some beat box as well as he sings... Kinda well done I think. :)
Here with another street artist who plays sax giving a dimension more to the music.

Listen to this in a dark room, with earphones... It's probably not the easiest track to begin to listen to Breakcore in general, and Venetian Snares in particular, but well... This is just astonishing.

A choir well-known in Belgium for its covers of famous rock songs (Creep, Nothing Else Matters, Muscle Museum, Under The Bridge, With or without you, etc)... Here on the opening of my favourite album. A cover of Gorecki, originally by Lamb.
