i dont like much old music at all, and wayne doesnt deserve any credit at all. his lyrics are shit, cant sing worth a damn, and all songs are about the same dumb shit with a different theme in the music video. im not trying to be original at all. anyone who knows anything about rap/hip hop should agree that lil wayne is an overhyped piece of trash.

If you like it or not ... Wayne is a genius. He combines his lyrics with his beats so perfectly that it catches your attention hearing a line.
If you don't understand what I mean a great example is Drakes song Over the line where he says "Can you see me, can you see me... Get your visine on".

I'm just using that as an example of catchy lines because of the beat... Wayne is a genius in that regard.
