The genre itself has lots of artists with strong Nazi influences though (especially martial industrial - what a surprise).

Sorry my friend; gonna call bullsh!t on that one.

Nazi-influenced Industrial bands are no more central to the genre than bands like Skrewdriver and Blue-Eyed Devil are to the overall Punk scene. That is to say: not at all. They're the back-asswards distant relatives that we're embarrassed to admit being related to.

I mean, (to name one of many,) you have bands like Laibach:

who appropriate Fascist / Nazi imagery, but it's parody. It's satire. It's irony, in that many of these bands are decidedly ANTI-Fascist / Anti-Nazi.

Definitely Industrial. ^_^

Would've liked to have seen them last time they were in town. srsly; who books gigs for bands on a Tuesday??

Ah well. C'est la vie.

Speaking of Canadian Industrial acts, this gent was just in town this past Friday. AMAZING show. :)

Some Rhythmic Noise for you, from Iszoloscope.

song: In The Face Of Descent (Kinetik Cut)

(edit: no, PP didn't start in Canada. Just wanted to throw Iszoloscope into the mix.) ;D
