I think the most I've ever had per week for one artist is like 150-200. Can't remember which (maybe Ashley Tisdale a while ago). I listened to that album hella. But 500 is almost insane but I guess it kinda sucks to throw off the charts at the same time (unless it's your favourite artist anyway then probably not as big a deal).

i had approx. 300 for sigur ros one week, i listened to gobbledigook ~150 times in anticipation

To each his own I guess. Post-rock is my love, but I've never found anything that could top GY!BE for me. Their discography is, as a whole, one of the most consistently good I've ever seen.
