It's around the same speed as DDR 3, plus I couldn't afford 4gigs of it, some I'm only getting 2 gigs of DDR3. I only am eating around 565 watts. My power supply is handling this amazingly well. None of the stuff is over clocked really, so I'm fine. The GFX card is just like 5% over clocked from the factory.

and your motherboard can handle both dd2 and dd3 as you said you want to order dd3 in the future?

Btw I doubt your mobo supports both ddr2 and ddr3. Your ddr2 is actually faster than, say ddr3-1333, because of lower timings...not that ram speed matters anyway

Agreed, I'm satisfied with my ddr2 completely.. What I want is a ssd to replace my raptor harddrive, and another storage drive, 2.5tb is not enough now that bluray rips are becoming so popular
