looking for albums simmilar to world of sleepers, interloper or hydroponic garden. atm checking solar fields, but i'm a bit dissapointed. the songs i really liked are sky trees, sombrero and going in. any ideas?

Yeah I would definitely recommend Vibrasphere's downtempo stuff like SmartassHr suggested, Downbeats Vol 1 + 2. Solar Fields has some cool stuff but I also was hoping it'd be a little more along the lines of CBL's stuff. Check out Cell too, he's on Ultimae as well. Also Aes Dana, who runs Ultimae is quite similar in terms of ambient stuff. CBL hits a special vein for me though. Nothing is quite like their style. I really love their stuff like the tracks Abiogenesis and Photosynthesis. Such good spacey ambient music with serious beats to go with it. Some stuff by Pitch Black is close as well but their style has a wide range and some of it isn't really my taste. Good luck, post if you find some good stuff!

Why pick and choose? I like all kinds of music, who cares how it's made?

yeah i think i was just overly upset about a recent football loss.
lol but i agree, i like all kinds of music as well.
I am more impressed by people playing instruments, though. Particularly live improvisation and when put on the spot.

Lol, well this sounds like it would be a crazy show to trip at for sure. The improv aspect is cool, something that IS indeed missing from some electronic music. But, to the credit of many of the artists which are regularly posted in this thread, many of them put on a live act as well. They just play different kinds of instruments which also require vast amounts of skill. Of course, how skillfully an instrument is played varies from artist to artist, regardless of the medium. Personally, I would never grab a guitar to make a wild synthetic noise, nor would I grab a synth to replicate a guitar. Each tool is good for what it does and the psychedelic aesthetic is quite vast. Anyway, I appreciate the offer for the ticket, I checked out the YT video but I am about to head out for the night. I may be back on later tonight, if it's still going on I might take you up on your offer.

I've probably posted this track one or more times before but i just have to do it again. I'm equally impressed each time i hear it, which has been weekly for the past ~14 years. It is one of the first goa songs i ever heard, part of the first goatrance cd i ever owned Destination Goa 7 (there's not one bad song on that cd). My favorite part is between 3.59 - 04.55, it's pure brilliance and not one drop less. From 07.13, this is one of very few songs that i don't mind ending, because the ending sounds so damn good.
