you dont listen to hardcore enough to notice any difference though. to me, its a lot heavier and true than metal. Cali has sound and fury, which is an AWESOME festival and bands do play LA non stop. but east coast has a lot more to offer as far as hardcore shows.

I need to make a choice between these 2 shows which should I go to

Grave Maker, Donnybrook, Murder Death Kill

or

Death Threat, Death Before Dishonor, The Mongoloids, xTHE WARx, Crowd Deterrent

around here hardcore kids tend to stick to themselves because LA is one of the few areas where there are still punks and street punks not only hate hardcore kids but beat the shit out of them on a near constant basis

ask the lead singer of Betrayel how his last encounter with a crusty gutter punk went :rofl:
