Well, people would refute it but I still see Akira Yamaoka as a psychedelic genius.

Again, more drum & bass and progressive electronic than psychedelic, but it's baller. If you don't start enjoying it at 2:40, give up.

Amon Tobin - El Cargo (Cujo is an alias for Tobin. I believe the dude soloed the entire Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory soundtrack. Other may have been involved. I'm not sure.)

Not bad. Oddly enough, I haven't heard much psychedelic rock at all, I've just heard goa/psytrance and such. I like it though :D

Couldn't agree more. You have to have the right ears to enjoy aphex. I just love how half the trippyness of his music is the drum patterns alone, nevermind all the other weird shit you here while drifting to aphex. Good stuff.

Aphex is good to space out too. But, I repeat, he was a disappointment live. Too mellow.
Venetian Snares raped him in performance on Dour last year.

Also, crazy parties in my town this month. Check it out:

No doubt it is an acquired sound. I couldn't stand listening from most of the tracks on either Drukqs disc all the way through. Then one night I sat on my grandmother's porch while visiting my home town, got lifted of some west cost feel good and let the music play in my headphones. Druqks might actually be my favorite album now. Some of the specific Analords can't go unrecognized.

Very true. I also have a soft spot for the Richard D. James album.

This is a little less psychedelic but it's still a fuckin' tune. Discovered the talent recenetly.

Low in The Sky - Fax Mn

These guys remind me of a band called Mouse On Mars. It's cool stuff, I haven't heard a ton of Boards Of Canada before but I really loved that ambient beginning. It made me feel like I was floating in space haha.

I didn't know Amon Tobin did the Splinter Cell soundtrack, that's badass. I've heard a bit of his stuff and some of it didn't catch me right away but that tune you posted was pretty badass, very Splinter Cell-ish.

This reminds me a ton of Shpongle, which is fucking awesome! I like it a lot, very funky, tribal and spacey music.

That is pretty interesting. It's funny how so much of science is now just confirming what many indigenous cultures have known for centuries (not specifically this article but it's a similar situation).

Very nice options you got there haha. Don't know a ton of the artists but I see one does nintendocore, which I love. :D Sounds like a blast, enjoy man.

As for Aphex, I have seen some videos of him live, never actually seen him though. It seems like hard music to see live given how sporadic the beats are if they exist, and if they don't exist, it's very ambient.

Definitely. I would say triphop and psy music are interrelated they just come from different roots but even then, the roots aren't that different.
