You know, I really gotta hand it to Astral Projection. They've been making Goatrance since 1993 and 19 years later they're still producing quality psychedelic music. That's quite an accomplishment. So many artists either stop making psychedelic music or start making crap or both *Cough* infected mushroom *Cough*

This tune is off their 2012 EP "One"

>On February 10, 2010, the New Astral Store opened on Astral Projection's website, making virtually all of their music available for a download fee in mp3 or wav format

And on top of everything, they give their art away for free.

Yeah, 19 years in a scene that was never that commercial to begin with is pretty incredible. Granted, it's become much more commercial in times since the beginning but still, they've been leaders in the genre. It impresses me that Etnica is still around too, couple of the classics are still making tunes though I gotta admit I still think the 90s were most of these bands golden years. I mean, the new Pleiadians vs early Pleiadians, in my opinion it's no contest that the earlier stuff was more dynamic and creative but in their later stuff they show that they've certainly mastered the art of producing trance music. Honestly I'm impressed with the passion and dedication in this style of music, so many artists, like the ones listed above, Twsted's artists, lots of other people, have been evolving this genre in so many different directions. It's really beautiful.

Also the Buckethead stuff is great. I never am really drawn to typical band instruments these days. Sometimes if they fit right but overall the paradigm of bassist, guitarist, drummer, vocalist has gotten really boring to me, so it's nice to hear a guitarist like Buckethead who doesn't bore me. I like that it's all instrumentals, at least what I've heard so far and it's moody and creative. Good stuff for sure.

I've been thoroughly obsessed with this song for days now. I don't know how I never heard it before but I'm glad I finally heard it because wow what a track. The 303 lines are just perfect, so expressive and the pads are beautiful. The whole song is so emotionally intense and the production is top notch. In my opinion, some of the best of Vibrasphere's trance work right here. Maybe I'm just infatuated because it's new to me but hot damn I've been listening to this shit on repeat for 4 days straight now!
