i really like opale. the rest of the album doesn't quite have the same charm, for me.

having a listen through "The Satanist"

my favorite behemoth release to date. i wasn't a huge fan of most of their stuff, it was just sort of "alright" to me, but there are some tracks on this album that really capitalize on the things i really enjoyed about their music, Amen and The Satanist are my favorite tracks, and his vocal performance on the whole album is excellent, but The Satanist definitely stands out in that regard.

Thought this was a bit different. I love the fuzzy sound

who the FUCK is paramnesia? i've never even heard of them before and this is incredible.

the panopticon/falls of rauros songs were good, but they're currently being eclipsed by this paramnesia track, for me.
