Its wierd for me. I love all of the NY Boston punk influence bands like those 2, madball, agnostic front etc.., but i only like a little bit of punk.

I just love heavy metal and death metal, but some deathcore bands get on my nerves.

I like very little punk as well. I hate almost all straight up metal/death metal.

But hardcore is already infested with faggots.

Hardcore should get rid of metal and bring the punk back

hardcore is neither metal nor punk and that is the problem

hardcore is posers from both genres that fail at doing anything good from either of them ><

I'm almost positive hardcore -came- from punk. Like.. punk kids changed up punk (because punk is dead :P) and bam hardcore was made.

aside from country and pop shit i grew up listening to when i was young, the majority of the music i liked before hardcore was classic rock, and heavy metal. Shit from ozzy, acdc, metallica, iron maiden, all that. Straight up metal is built in me, cant get away from it.

Hardcore is neither of those because it is hardcore. Having punk or metal influence doesn't mean they are trying to copy that exact music. As everyone has said, you should start listening to the real hardcore and their subgenres. Although I doubt your opinion will ever change, so no real point arguing really.

this is true in fact the name hardcore was taken from the hardcore punk movement but that doesn't make the current music genre any less of posers

So I went and saw Oceana, Gwen Stacy, Armor For The Broken, and Vanna tonight.

Vanna was decent, clean vocals sucked, but other then that it was like punk hardcore type stuff.
Gwen Stacy of course fucking wrecked it, gotta love that band.
Oceana, OF COURSE MY FAVORITE WAS AMAZING.

but this band Armor For The Broken
totally unexpected
if you like The Ghost Inside, deff check these dudes out.

I don't understand how you could call any individual's taste in music "bad". It's impossible.

Unless they like Brokencyde.

IMO, we should start a guild, strictly for fans of hardcore, pop-punk, punk, various subgenres of metal (the good metalcore, some deathcore), you get the picture.

there is no such thing as good metalcore or deathcore

and yes you can call someones taste bad in music just like you could call their taste in humor bad or their taste in clothing bad music isn't off boundaries just because people throw bitch fits over it
