I've heard of them but never given them a proper listen I'll get to them

I just realized you put the cro-mags on there, although not my fav I'll give it a thumbs up cuz I used to listen to a lot of punk

if you like cro-mags then you will probably enjoy cruel hand, bitter end, and power trip.

I gave em a listen they certainly keep their style similar to original hardcore (punk)

idk I could tolerate it but I couldn't get into any of it but I will say its a lot better than most of the other shit I've had to sit through

well once i get stable with the Navy i will end up seeing how SD Cali's hardcore shows are.

I'm sure there are lots of people just like you in fact I do know of a few and as you have pointed out yourself some of the most respected band in hardcore come out of SoCal

I just don't pay much attention to the hardcore kids tbh I like to find the scene kids and fuck em up and the rest of the crowd, well is just the rest of the crowd

I think you'll like it here just got to get used to not seeing gun racks on rear view mirrors

Brendan, you have to keep in mind that we live in LA very close to Hollywood, Calabasas, Malibu, etc, all of these really fake towns that have a bunch of fake fucking posers living in them. There are still some real people left and there's definitely some real hardcore fans here, but they get drowned out by the disgustingness that is Los Angeles... it's just dumb.

Anyways, I'm seeing Trash Talk live this month. My friend really wants to see Alexisonfire and they're playing in Hollywood... I don't mind their album Crisis so I'm hoping they play the few songs I enjoy from that. But I found out that Trash Talk (yay!) and Therefore I Am are playing with them. I don't go to shows much so this is exciting. o_o..
