I made fun of the music every day until I went to a show. My first show was Emmure. It cost only like $5 and there was like 15 people attending. I think Goodbye To Gallows was still fresh. haha
About a month after I saw Elysia. That was my second show. I still hated the music. Then a couple months later I saw CDC and Cinderblock at a park near my house. It cost $3 and there was like 10 people there. That officially got me into it. Been lovin' it ever since.

my first hardcore show was Terror and Bury Your Dead (when they were original).

i had no idea what i was getting into. i saw someone get stabbed during Terror and during bury your dead people were just breaking the venue (it was the final show there). i was totally scared but excited the whole time. i was 15, and probably the youngest kid there. i was hooked ever since then.

I remember the first time I smoked crack. I had no idea what I was getting into. I saw someone scratch at invisible bugs in their skin and scream at the walls. I was totally fried but high the whole time. I was 15, and probably the youngest cracksmoker there. I've been hooked ever since then...

Listening to hardcore is like smoking crack. It's just great. Trust me. I know.

people just dont understand hardcore because i dont think they have embraced a real hardcore show.

if you're in the back just making fun of everyone else having fun... then its not for you.

define a "real" hardcore show cuz I've seen/been around about 90% of the bands you guys have listed and hate them all

and if you think there aren't any real shows in LA then its just plain ignorance

I think I just like my music to not be so generic/talentless/and completely unoriginal

but again to each his own
