One of the seminal Gothic bands. The selected track was chosen for its droning, atmospheric sound; a theme oft repeated throughout the genre.

Egads. o_o

This is the kind of stuff I grew up with.

Not the kind of stuff that catches my fancy, though. Not much into this flavor of prog rock.

Not much into prog rock at all, truth be told. I'm OK with stuff like King Crimson:

but for the most part, I'm largely indifferent to prog rock.

Typically, I like a lil' more @ss-kickin' out of my '70s music:

artist: KISS
song: Detroit Rock City
genre: Metal

or a lil' more groove:

artist: Average White Band
song: Pick Up The Pieces
genre: Funk/Soul

and one more Trip Hop track for you folks:

artist: Amon Tobin
song: Four Ton Mantis
