Thought this thread could use a bump. just thought I'd let you all know that I'm writing a paper about hardcore shows and some of the stuff related to the themes in hardcore music for a class at school.
I wrote this paper and got a 96 on it. Was about how attending shows, specifically hardcore/pop-punk shows, induces an altered state of consciousness. There's actually a lot of academic research done on the dancing that goes on at hardcore shows. I found it quite interesting.
