ahah, don't worry, it's not that big of a deal.
if you don't dig the local scene and valley venues, then don't go to shows man.

Valley shows aren't terrible all the time just tons of posers and the venues have horrible sound quality especially the brobalt cafe

hollywood shows have to be a little more careful because they are policed a lot more strictly which sometimes can ruin a good time but I saw Warbringer, The Faceless, Suicide Silence, and Nile there (awesome show) and it was easily one of the most violent pits I've ever been too

ofc that's a metal pit but still it all just depends on the night and I prefer to actually hear the songs clearly for me if I'm going to pay I want it to be worth it

luckily I never pay for shitty local venues like the brobalt or the lab down in oxnard

those bands have violent pits?

from what I hear Houston doesn't have a very active metal scene

LA however does and from my personal experience metal shows tend to be more violent in the pits than hardcore

most of hardcore show violence comes from idiot krew kids trying to fight each other

the worst pit out of all the bands was for Suicide Silence most everyone just went outside to smoke instead of listening to deathcore

This song is great to have a pit too, can just throw yourself around and no care.

way too many generic bands and scene kids out in the Valley for my taste at the brobalt cafe

it's almost as bad as the kung fu corner used to be
