I lived in gatesville(near waco), and there were so many scene kids in Waco, although I seen a couple good shows in Texas, biggest one was The Rev. Horton Heat and motorhead together, no emos at that one, All bikers and good metal loving guys. I then went to a show at that stupid bar in Austin called emos(They had Decapitated playing), during the show(It was outside), some emos where there and were complaining it sucked, then I went inside and it was an emo band, They had some shitty mosh pit. I wish I didn't live near Waco/Killeen, bunch of faggot emos, No good bands, I went to some shows in waco with some friends, they all sucked.
Emos is the lamest venue in ATX. they wont allow stage dives or anything. Red 7 is the best for hardcore, or there is a warehouse that was an old mechanic shop that is tight as fuck.
never been to a waco show, Houston has a solid scene though.... but everyone has a few douche bags.
