I like the old skool sounding progressive house/progressive trance , you can find some in the BALANCE Series or the Global Underground Series

Something like this maybe ?

Its not the old skool sound i was talking about but still FU*KING liking it

Bought the Double CD album2 years ago cause its rly great , rly nice mixes here

It's clear that Henry Saiz understands the potential of a mix cd as the format created for, but going far beyond, the dancefloor experience. The mixes take you on a sonic journey inspired by past wonderings through the shortwave spectrum on old analogue radio sets, nights spent browsing through their miracle world of white noise, exotic languages, mysterious tunes and echoey sounds. These memories are brought to life with present technology, respecting the continuity that underlies all music across genres. Very few mix cds go close to this one. Buy it while it's out there. It is the Large Hadron Collider of music particles that yields wondrous results right now.

nice been trying to push that album for ages

henry saiz is one of my favourites and so is that DJ mix
05 and 14 are also awesome in balance series also (james holden+joris voorn)

but yeah i know all the balance+GU+renaissance series

they tend to be more prog house/trance like you say, although balance has quite a bit of techno

you know renaissance also? quite similar
