tbh, wasn't expecting this when I typed in Death Before Dishonor. Not originally a big fan of these guys, but this one wasn't bad.

I was actually refering to this picture and to the fact that the regular posters in this thread will not like a band if they don't play breakdowns at least 75 % of the time they're on stage



and also I was talking about the first videos you posted, not about Arkangel or Clouded. Sadly, I have never been to their shows. Fuck me for being born in Finland and not having enough money to travel abroad to see bands

i would actually prefer chants and pile ups over breakdowns anyday.

Likewise. Wisdom In Chains is my favorite right now and I don't think they play breakdowns?

they have the best punk/hardcore combo without getting gay imo.

every genre of music has a breakdown, just some make it 100% known its a breakdown aka deathcore/metalcore and yes some hardcore. it also effect music like country, classic rock and even rap/hip hop. its just a part of writting a song.

what our Finnish friend is trying to say is, we are posers and only listen to music for a breakdown... at least 75% of their set. which is 100% false. but you gotta love the kids who think their bands are more "underground" so he obviously is better than anyone else.... yea.

what I'm trying to say is that you make yourselves look like fucking tools when you talk about going to trendy metalcore or deathcore shows just to crowdkill scenesters
