Do you know if it is upstairs or downstairs at The Chance? The bigger (downstairs) venue is alright, but the upstairs is probably the worst place ever for any show with crowd movement as the stage is in the corner of an L-shaped room with a bunch of railings and tables.

The Chance is unpredictable, The Acacia Strain's record release party for Continent was in the upstairs venue while there was no show downstairs, but they will often host local bands in the main room. It certainly is a shitty venue, but it is a pleasant drive as it avoids the big highways most of the way for me.

i live in albany, so essentially the only smart route down there is on 87 south.
