Not to bash your music taste at all, but after having listened to a few of Paysage D'hiver's songs, I just can't bear the earaching noise when the guitars, drums and vocals play together. Nychts is where I find balance, when it comes to long journeys :-)

I have exactly the same sentiments regarding Paysage D'hiver. It was my first time listening to it, and I couldn't stand it. However, Nychts is great.

deafheaven are truly an experience, i'm incredibly happy that i got to see them.

absolutely the best black metal show i've ever seen, i was actually nervous when i was talking with george after the show. blew me away, for sure.

I have seen them a couple of weeks ago, was the second time I've seen them here in Hungary. I think George is overdoing the show element on stage though, nevertheless, both concerts were a great experience.

Also, I had a word with him too after the first show, he's a really nice and humble guy, even gave me a compliment on my hand paint Woods of Desolation T-shirt too. Was flattered, really.

i'm listening right now, really enjoy it so far
