Dunno if posted already. One of my favorite tune from the 3 Dust off the NES albums i found some time ago. It was long ago i stopped listening to hiphop, the sound was good but the lyrics in hiphop cover subjects i disagree with, so i gave up. This however, this is
the shit! Repetative music without lyrics is what i live for, any genre is my genre as long as it's lyric-free! It leaves the song without a fixed theme otherwise decided by the lyrics makes music without lyrics "flow in pace with life" as i call it. You know, when you gotta go to WC quickly and the second you return is the same time the songs slow middle-section you can live without is ending and the best part begins with a beat timed on the millisec your foot re-enters the room. It's probably magic, i can't find another explanation. Think about it and become amazed.

It was not posted already, but eventually, I imagine this thread will become large enough that duplicate posts are inevitable. So, it's not a problem either way.
Honestly, this is one of the reasons I am inclined to Instrumental Hip Hip over the alternatives. Do not get me wrong. There is Hip Hop out there, with talented lyricists, AND talented produces / beat makers, but the majority is washed out and hypnotized into this (money/sex/empathy) way of thinking that deludes their real talents.
Perhaps I am a minority myself, who is simply incapable of relating to the message and feel being portrayed by most modern Hip Hop. Really, I hope so, but I doubt it. I think there are so many people looking to make a quick buck that there is a strong majority of artists who would consider themselves 'capable of pleasing an audience', and so they would do whatever was requested of them, or expected of them, to serve their audience. If they are, then they never have to worry about how to make a living again, as most people do. Money is the ultimate influence in most of the world. Never forget that. Offer someone money to produce droll for thousands, and most will do it.
I don't relate to most of the 'themes' portrayed by most modern Hip Hip / Rap either. Not to say there aren't real-talk bits that go a long way, but I just can't get into most new-age rap with a style that I can't relate to. Perhaps I'm a little bit old-fashioned.
