I've came to the conclusion that the east coast sucks balls for hardcore shows. The more and more I go I just run into stereotypically douche bags who cant fight for shit.

You were stationed in like mass or conneticut right? If you were more into the beatdown/old school kind of hardcore shows you would definitely have to go to good shows in NY and NJ. Granted you may have stumbled into some weak shows with good bands playing. If that happened a lot, all I can say is you got some bad luck on your side.

I heard shows in certain parts of NY are really fun and good for dancing. I don't live on the East Coast or know anything about it though... just what I heard from a friend
