Hmm, I didn't have to disappear long for this thread to die.

I kid. Thank you to those who kept this thread running (to an extent) while I was gone. Instrumental Hip-Hop is real. Let it not die. The next time I leave for 19 months, I expect to come back and see this thread full of new material.

Of course, as always, I have enjoyed listening to the contributions made by other members. If ever you are stuck thinking, "should I post this or not?" post it. If it qualifies as Instrumental Hip-Hop, I want to hear it.
Your posts are gorgeous. The recent posts have been added to a list that I will keep tabbed for future listening.

It is about time that I updated that list. Obviously, it is not about me at all. It is about the artists. They exist, and they are talented, and they want people to know it. Let people know it, in this thread or in others.

Dr. Quandry - Varanasi

I recommend including the title/artist of the songs that you post in your posts, even if they are Youtube posts. We never know when Youtube is going to change fuckin' everything. Same goes for other posts outside of YouTube. The format of your inclusion may be altered later in such a way that viewers don't know what it is that they are clicking on.

Also, public releases of certain tracks (especially Youtube releases) may be deleted in the future. If you include artist information, viewers of this thread may be able to find out about the artists by searching the internet. A video that has been deleted won't lead anyone anywhere. Not a requirement, just a recommendation. This thread is about spreading information, after all.

Boogie Belgique - Swing Thing

Yes, Boogie Belgique is becoming a personal hobby horse of mine, like Odjbox or L'Orange, but for good reason. Their mix of jazz, electroswing, and classic samples have me by the balls.

If you enjoy these artists, I recommend checking the YouTube profiles featuring the videos that I've forwarded here. HHVibe and DLoaw, in particular, have introduced me to many artists that I wouldn't have known existed without their contributions. I'm looking for other sources though. If you have sources that offer this kind of material, I would be glad to see them myself. (Obviously, not just YouTube.)

Tosca - Suzuki

Surprised I haven't included anything from Bonobo or Nujabes myself yet. These are two artists that I am very well familiar with.
While I am very fond of many tracks that both have developed, all tracks that you've included are very good for me personally. I like that you included songs part of albums less familiar to most, at least in the case of Jun Seba. Metaphorical Music and Hydeout Productions are much less popular than the rest of the albums he took part in.

I actually didn't know, until now, that Bonobo had released new music in 2013. I'm asking myself what rock I've been living under. Shit. Thanks for letting me know. That'll keep me busy for a little while.

Dark_Angel_Thalia talked about this track from L'Orange a very long while ago in this thread. I think it's about time that it be posted, seeing as L'Orange is still one of my favorites artists to date.
Thank you Thalia. I wouldn't have come back to this track if it weren't for your word. It is so good... Seriously.

Dunno if posted already. One of my favorite tune from the 3 Dust off the NES albums i found some time ago. It was long ago i stopped listening to hiphop, the sound was good but the lyrics in hiphop cover subjects i disagree with, so i gave up. This however, this is the shit! Repetative music without lyrics is what i live for, any genre is my genre as long as it's lyric-free! It leaves the song without a fixed theme otherwise decided by the lyrics makes music without lyrics "flow in pace with life" as i call it. You know, when you gotta go to WC quickly and the second you return is the same time the songs slow middle-section you can live without is ending and the best part begins with a beat timed on the millisec your foot re-enters the room. It's probably magic, i can't find another explanation. Think about it and become amazed. :P
