these guys are more like led zeppelin than the bands you posted but it's still pretty solid.

tool is good but to me, someone who isn't musically inclined whatsoever, most of their stuff sounds really similar.

pantera, slipknot, old afi, the mars volta. mostly mainstream stuff there as i can't remember any of my underground bands atm >_<
