One of the greatest atmospheric black metal album imo and it was their first album, it's highly Summoning influenced tho, but they still succeeded in making something original and epic.


Gave this one a listen and thought it was okay. I'd probably just listen to Bathory for this kind of stuff though :/.

Just listen to summoning rather? Bathory isn't exactly of this kind of stuff as much as summoning is :p

True, but I prefer Bathory to Summong o.0.

Both probably better options, but maybe this new one is more of a grower. Has anyone heard the new Ulver album, by any chance? I'm having a little bit of a hard time finding a download and might consider actually buying it.
