yups. hes using (more or less) 8 finger tapping. means he's playing by only tapping on the strings using both hands. mostly right hand is for the lower stings (playing bass/rhythm riffs), left hand is for melody on the higher strings.
there is an guitar player that plays only by tapping on the strings. his name is stanley jordan (yeah he plays electric :-P). he doesnt pick them at all. in this live version, he plays 2 guitars at the same time. 1guitar the rhythm (chords) 1guitar playing melody/solos
