I wouldn't say Locust is a worst album.... It needs more listens, it's growing on me big time.

You seen them Live? They destroyed me twice at Download fest, and once at Sonisphere. That was the most dangerous time that i've seen them lol - was standing there enjoying the intro to Aesthetics of Hate, then when that riff kicked in - the crowd just exploded and I lost my bag with the munch, an umbrella and blanket, and barely pulled my gf outa the destruction lol xD Badass times.

sounds like you were going on a picknick at a machinehead show and that confuses me
also no ive not had a chance to see them live eventhought i live near their hometown, i actually saw Rob and their drummer at my work 2 weeks or so ago having dinner
i work at a nice steakhouse restaurant, so i went and shook his hand and said hi to him talked breifly

Sic - I think I saw your post about it?

And I was at a Festival for a day because Metallica were headlining - I do Festivals in style and we were sitting having a nice Picnic after Lamb Of God, before Machine Head and just before Slayer :D

Good times.

I would love to meet Rob - he's a big influence for me

W00t ^_^ Lars is a total fanny - no doubt about it.

Metallica are however a great band. Regardless of the shit material, and I do agree with you on that, they are still top of their game.

Even though the movie was about a bad album, i found it immensly interesting to watch the transition from almost breaking up, to fighting back and releasing some material. The transition of telling the bassist to fuck off and getting in the beast that is Rob Traijo, loved it.

Death Magnetic is a good album - just a slightly different style for them, much like Iron Maiden with the Final Frontier - good album, but different style!

I actually just got the Download 2007 Machine Head Performance - it's bloody awesome and i remember being in the pit for the entire thing :D

Oh man, Gojira are incredible. Really didn't like them when they first appeared, then i saw them support In Flames in London and whilethere, decided i did really like them! Saw them again in July at SOnisphere Festival and it was without a doubt the heaviest gig of the festival - was absolutely fuckin AWESOME!! In a tent, totally rammed and crowded outside, heads and hair flying everwhere - and a massive inflatable whale floating about during Flying Whales rofl xDD

Excited for the new album/EP too :o
