Cradle of Filth - Thier first few albums were good black metal, but they got BEYOND commercial over the years and they arent even Norwegian.... they are British so that auto knocks them down a peg in the Black Metal world
Skinny Puppy - Not black or death metal at all... very Industrial but DEFINITLY worth a listen if u like those genres

UPDATE: If you ever see a band thats name has something to do with The Lord of the Rings.. they are most likely a good Black Metal band(only exception I know is Amon Amarth who are Viking Metal but take the name of Mt Doom)
