Honestly, I wasn't that impressed. The dude is a great guitarist, no question, but he didn't really do anything. He's just shredding and honestly there was hardly any emotion in his solo. It sounded cliched...just high pitched whining and tapping and blah blah blah....we've all seen it a million times. The greatest guitarists of all time are the one's who do something new, with style, and emotion...all of which that asian guy is lacking.....
You mistake playing fast for being good like so many others.
While I will give him props for improvising that solo, it would have been a million times more interesting if the band was still playing with him and they all jammed together....but that's extremely difficult so I guess that's why they don't do it.
