I saw them 3-4 times, each time their performance was worst then the one before.
Imo, they have 1 good ''new'' album since the Reign in blood/South of Heaven period, and that's it.

I dunno; I thought Seasons In The Abyss was also a good album. Kinda dropped out of the Metal scene in the lat '90s; didn't keep up with Slayer after Abyss. o_o

The Christ Illusion is one of their best.

They are okay for me I guess, Seasons is my favorite from them though.

It is a great album. Unfortunately the latest addition to the Slayer collection has 2 or 3 really good songs, but the rest is lame.

90s was a BAD time for Slayer, contending aganist the popularity of grunge shite.

If you look at the 90s, Slayer Megadeth and Metallica alll released sub-par albums.



You can't hold the bad performances too harshly against them, Tom cannot headbang any more, Jeff has almost lost his arm due to NECROSIS *fucking lol* and they are all getting on.

Still, it all depends on how much you love screaming "GOD HATES US ALL" in a crowd Personally, I fucking love it.
