Year was so so. Some great electronic releases and tracks. Especially Footwork stuff.
Way too many fucking boring indie bands (i'm looking at you war on drugs) and not enough good, honest rock life Solstafir.

Would be glad to see some other best of lists!

Does it concern only 2014 release? Because I never try to listen to the newer stuff just because they're new usually, I just listen to what sound interesting.

I think I might have lost my ability to get into newer music, i've heard 30 or 40 albums from this year and I only consider Lee Fields and Marianne Faithful to be great.

If I like newer music it's generally stuff that sounds like older music such as Lee Fields or contemporary jazz albums

Thats actually quite awesome, I barely know anybody who knows Jizue (really recommended for fans of Toe)

You might enjoy Hauschka, its contemptary, very rhythmic, piano.
