One of the guys in a local Electro-House band helped his son put this together.




So:

1. Awesome that an eight year old is doing music, or

2. Electronic music: so simple, an eight year old can do it.

It's cool that the kid wants to make music. I am glad for him that he is already finding ways to do what he wants within the realm of music. But to say electronic music is so simple an eight year old could do it is a MASSIVE understatement and not a fair assessment by any means. I mean, plenty of eight year olds can play Beethoven on piano but that doesn't make him any less of a musician. And on top of that, this song is super simple and it's not even an original melody. Sounds like his dad helped him a good bit if you ask me. Anyway, there's plenty of eight year olds who could rock the hell out of a bunch of older "musicians" on a guitar/drums or whatever, just search YouTube. Seriously hope nobody comes in here thinking electronic music is lesser compared to "acoustic" music because somebody young made one song with the help of his dad.

Anyway, good for him.

Sorry, I realize I might have come across as harsh. I guess I'm a bit confused of the whole point of both of your posts... If you want to read it, feel free, I'm not stopping you. I don't mess with any kind of JSP theme, mine is just the default blue theme, not sure how that would affect you being able to read it though. If you really care that much PM me and I'll copy/paste it into a PM for you... lol.
