I do. I havent recorded in quite some time since I started my new job. I used to do some gigs around the city (Chicago) but like I said ive just gotten too busy. I used CDJ-800's mostly, played on 1000's a few times, and have been waiting to use the 2000's. I regret selling my tables a few years back

I think my spoiled homie's dad is getting him some CDJ 800's or something of the like. Neither of us know what we're getting ourselves into, but it will be a fun adventure nonetheless.

Ill check em out when I get home from work. I've tried out all sorts of other tables from Technics, Numark, Denon, etc, and none stand up to the CDJ's. Although this is the type of situation that only you can decide which works best for you personally. I only learned on CDJ's first because thats what most bars/clubs have in their setup.

Used to, a long time ago. Listened to a CRAPLOAD of Trance, but mostly spun House. (wtfh4x? inorite???)

I prefer vinyl to CDs or mp3's, but I've finally heard compelling enough arguments to make me believe that there are those CD / mp3 DJs that do have talent.

I still believe that there's valuable lessons to be learned from mixing analog media without crutches or training wheels, though. Beatmatching by ear, and such.

I have a few sets ive mixed and have spun live a couple times. Granted i had to play garbage top 40 when i was DJing. I just used a cheap Midi controller to mix digitally

Vinyl is amazing but it is just so damn expensive and all of my finances go to bills and my studio i am slowly but surely building.

I will post up some of my tracks soon when they are ready.

ive been buying like one new vinyl as they come out with a bunch of mp3s , it is bare expensive specially since what im interested in generally all from UK record labels . i use traktor scratch live and havent really spent any time mixing straight vinyl yet because my needles suck dick i dont wanna wear anything my vinyls down till i have better turntables with better needles lol . right now ive only practiced mixing stuff around 140 , some stuff around 128 but i dont have much music like that
