Skrillex has ruined electronic music. Call me a hipster but ive been involved in house as a dj/producer for like 5 years and I cant stand this dude. He can barely use turntables....

I use Ableton myself... to produce.. I dont sit on it and make premade mixes for the crowd so I can stand up there and push unassigned buttons for 2 hours.

Plenty of credible producers use or used to use Ableton. I can't say I enjoy house... at all, but this dude is placing his hand in the cookie jar of genres he knows nothing about, and is killing it for a lot of people.

Agreed. I can't stress how correct you are. I can't get away with telling anyone this either, because i'm instantly a "hater"

Nothing wrong with using Live for DJing as well. No other DAW or crappy DJ program is as versatile with its effects or ease of use for on the fly work.
