Been looking and searching/researching on headphones especially and want an upgrade. Looking at a price range 70-150 for headphones on/over the ear and 25-125 in ear phones. Looking for something that has a strong bass (not over powering the treble/ acoustic and voice) and has clarity. I'd already looked into Bose, Sennheiser, audio techna, Sol, Sony,... Etc (excluding beats) with review on YouTube etc.. .. Noise isolation... Any thoughts on a good pair to have.
Genre: pop, rnb, hip-pop/ raggae almost all genre

Urban look ( doesn't stand out).

Any Suggesting on those who own one and have recommendation?

Sennheisser 100!

Love the sound of headphones but they always too heavy and after an hour they hurt my ears

Earbuds are always crappier sound , never quite fit right or just fall out if you move to fast

These are featherwight and crystal clear unbeileivably durable and only cost 100$

here a link to see them - they called px 100 now

Logitech Ue-6000 are a solid choice at that price range. Even come with active noise canceling.

M50's are another popular choice.

If you want mind numbing bass look into the Sony XB line.

Other then S4, IEM's are really not my forte~

/e Also $100~ headphones aren't exactly considered audiophile.

You're using some bad headphones if they're heavy enough to bother you & Hurt your ears...

You have no idea what you're talking about with earbuds & They make different types of tips to fit different ears. Or custom fittings.

ive tried $300-400 headphones and they all hurt my ears after an hour

your an idiot to bitch at me for telling you what i experience - big time.

your also an idiot for thinking price guantees quality - it doesnt.

Also the guy said he want between 70 and 150$ headphones - and these are the best in that price range.

and ive tried custom fittings for ear buds - they dont work all the time and not that great.

Ive got 35+ years of experience to know wtf im talking about - and i listen to music everyday.

Go sit in a studio and try to do a marathon session of editing audio with headphones that hurt.

Plus are you just trolling this section cause i dont really appreciate your criticism in a thread where someone asked a question.

If you got something too add , then feel free to say it. Otherwise stfu and go back to listening to Justin Beiber.

Which $300-400 headphones have you tried that heard your ears?

Most sub-200 dollar headphones can't compare to high end headphones in terms of comfort, though sound performance is the main priority of higher-end headphones, comfort is merely a bonus of more costly components (like lambskin cushions). Some times higher performance can be contradictory to greater comfort. Take the Audeze LCD-3's as an example. Some of the best headphones in the world, maybe even in the top 5 ever, but they weigh fricken 650 grams or so. Never tried them though.

The most comfortable headphones I've tested are the ones I'm using now, the Denon D5000. Everything else just feels subpar compared to the delicately soft leather pads. Most of my friends are left in shock after trying them on ;)

Seems i struck a nerve.

My "Criticism" In this thread is because you're giving him bad advice about full size headphones & Iem's.

You can have 100+ years experience for all i care & still not know what you're talking about.

You either havent tried good headphones or you have the most irritable ears i've ever heard of

op is asking for 70- 150$ headphones , and those are the best in my opinion in that price range.
They better than most "professional" ones.
Ive tried the Denon 5000 and they are too heavy, too expensive and just stupid.
They might be ok for a song or two but after that they got problems.
Have your "friends" tried to wear them for hours?
I think there is a slight diffence between "trying them on" and actually using them.
and if your basing your opinion on someone 5 sec assesment - then your probably shouldnt be posting your opinion.
I dont like them for the same reason i dont like touques , I dont like things that press my ears for hours.
Maybe your ears arent so sensative and you like the feeling like your in an other world.
I dont.
Have you heard Neil Young's new album? - it was recorded in a restored 1950 sound booth and it sounds great.
The booth was restored by Jack White and two of the best names in rock are trying to tell you that new + pricey isnt always better that simple and effective.
They might know a thing or two about music.

The only nerve you struck is your own need to feel like your opinion matters

and me im always ready to fight it out with idiots.

wtf do you know about whats bad or good.

Ive been listening to and editing audio for longer than youve been alive.

plz then , since your so you think your so knowledgable about headphones - tell us what you do with them?

I know that you to young and think price determines quality. Thats one trap you feel into to easily.

Are you really that gulable?

You high? Did i ever said price = quality? In fact i gave him a couple options to look at that are considered better than most headphones twice their price. I don't care how long you've been listening/Editing audio, You're still an idiot for what you posted earlier in the thread.
Only idiot in this "Fight" Is you.

called my advice "bad" , my headphones "bad"

it doesnt matter how expensive they are or how soft the Leather is.
When i first took an audio course in college - i went out and bought some 300$ nice headphones.
Or so i thought they were nice.

First problem was that some of these projects took 80 hours of editing audio - and im telling you for a fact that comfort was the number one issue concerning Headphones with everyone in the class, not just me.
I tried everyones and they all hurt. Since then ive tried over 100 pairs of "expensive" ones and ive learned a few things:

Comfort is always the number one issue and most fail on that alone. The sennheiser px 100/200 earns a 10/10 on this one.
Also durabilty is the second most important factor , another issue that almost every nice pair fails on. Drop your headphones a few times and see how good they work?
Mine have fallen off my desk a 100 times and there's no damage - not even the slightest - again a 10/10.

Price is the third factor - but if they fail the first two issues - then they are a total waste.
4th factor to consider is portablity - if they too big to carry around with you - then again they are a waste - mine fold up to fit in your pocket - Lets see you do that with anything you wanna compare them with.
again mine are 10/10
The fifth factor is actually sound qaulity - now you might get minascully better sound for 300$ more but these are ultra clear and dynamic sound quality better than most expensive ones.
One factor that these utterly fail on is noise cancelling - like if someone is siting next to you, they may as well have the heaphones on because they'll hear everything
So if thats the most important factor you need , then look elsewhere.
But if anything else at all is a factor - then these outshine all other by far and are the best.

Now the reason i insulted you was that you had some degotatory things to say , and you cant go around insulting people or the things they have experienced
cause they might know a thing or two more than you, and if your first thought is to insult them - then your gunna have a tough life
and i wish you well on your rocky journey.
