Just looking for some decent DJ/Mixing Software and/or some Effects Creation/Distortion software.

Looking for personal preferences, pros and cons.

3-4 Years with FL. About extent of my actual experience.

I use camelcrusher for easy quick distortion/compressor, its free too

Ohmicide is pretty badass multiband distortion, but a bit more complex

Guitar rig from native instrument can get you some wicked distortion fx too

If you plan on mixing live you should probably switch from fl to ableton

Dont know if you plan on producing music or just mixing but incase your producing
Massive from native instrument is one of my favorite vst for pretty much any kind of sound
Sytrus and FM8 are fucking awesome to create monster skrillex-style basses because of the FM synthesis
