I want a sound system I can set up in my living room, that will push sound
throughout the room and into my kitchen. I have heard great things about the "Bose Wave Music System"
and I am wondering what are the other options out there?

(I do not have a TV in the living room or kitchen).

Heh my bro is working his way up to that. Right now just has Klipsch 2x stand up speakers, 2x bookshelf speakers, 1x center, 1x 10in sub ..... Thing already sounds ridiculous.

i got a $500 sub plugged directly into my laptop when i'm gaming and listening to music
and it sounds like i'm in a night club when i turn up the volume



i did 4 weeks of shopping before coming to the concluding you have to piece together a cinema if you want it to sound good (without overpaying).
Many all-in-one systems have nice tweeters but bad subs or nice mid range but bad highs.
it's worth the time and effort you put into it
