Is it normal for your battery to wear out fast when not in use or being charged.

For example, i have it fully charged, i come back 2 weeks later and it is dead, at 0%, is it a crappy batterey or do they all suck?

do you turn it all the way off by holding the switch up for a couple seconds or do you just leave it on sleep?

That`s normal, rechargable batteries discharge faster than normal.

Yeah, I had a PSP and it had the same problems. PSP's kinda suck, not enough good games for it; I sold mine and bought a Nintendo DS Lite, and let me tell you it's a helluva lot more fun.
Oh btw, don't bother getting the 3rd part lithium batteries with more watts, they're even worse than the standard one.

PSP has WAY more homebrew/emulation development that DS will ever have.

Trick is getting a 1.5 firmware psp.
