I watch tons of these films I will list a few for you.

There will be a few series , a MUST watch.

HBO's Spartacus: I would definitely suggest watching this series, its based in rome and it's gladiators, very recent as well.

HBO's Rome: Awesome Series, there was 2 Seasons but it's now over with, they say it cost SO much to make each series like a mil per episode, so they had to stop it.

Troy im sure you have seen this, kickass movie.

Dungeons & Dragons Wrath of the Dragon God need i say more?

Centurion Released August 27th 2010 Roman Movie, Just awesome

Empire Another roman movie, kickass movie, couple years older

Game Of Thrones HBO series not out yet, but check out the trailer, its supposed to me like lord of the rings in ways, looks awesome.
