you can get a vizio 23" led tv for $400. also if you want any kind of cable for your tv like component or hmdi buy it at monoprice.com theyre like $5-$10 instead of $50-$100 each. if you play games like call of duty or any mmofps you can you the extra $ to buy a nice gaming headset or whatever.

vizio also have some nice 40" tvs for $700

Well buying now is probably better because of the lowered prices, as least i think. also if u spend more money on a TV the longer it will last, depending on how much you use it and i would actually ask someone who is more familar.

I got a 42 Inch Hd screen in my room. I paid like 960 for it so I don't know if you could save a bit more or just lower the size it will get cheaper I'm sure. I play my Xbox360 a lot and watch movies from my pc on my xbox I got a JVC flatscreen with an Ipod dock that comes out so that's pretty cool too. Ummmmm for xbox360 you should go with Hd LCD screen since plasma can't register the pixels as fast as LCD and I think the Hd is good enough and has about 40000 more hours of life then a plasma, plus no imprint crap. If y ou have any friends who are military buy it on base because you don't pay Tax. My parents are military so that saved me like 100 something dollars. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16889253198 There is one that's in your price range. Still 40 inches and read up on the reviews and stuff before purchase. Search around on Newegg and just read up on the different brands and reviews until you find something to base your decision off of. Here's a pic of my setup so you can see size compared to everything else. Hope that helps mate good luck with your purchase

you should get a plasma... theyre way bigger, way cheaper, unbelievably better contrast ratio compared to even the best lcds, the only problem is it can get too hot or the screen can "burn-in" but new plasma tvs have things built in to counter that.

Yeah it's pretty fun. It has some good remixes. But the hardest difficulty is like impossible to get perfect on since you have to use the slider so quick not worth 100 bucks imo but worth the buy when the price drops.

Plasma screen tvs also go out a lot sooner than any other tv would....
