Klipsche, Sennheiser, Philips?

Any suggestions?

I will use them to workout some, And I will also use them when I'm just hanging out at the library doing homework, listening to music.

Music is mostly metal/rock, but it shouldn't make a big difference.

Durability is VERY important.

Thanks in advance! Please give reasons too!

Sennheiser is pretty legit quality, but they aren't really super durable. Neither is Bose imo. I would just go buy a cheap pair of $5 or $10 Phillips and when they break, as all ear buds do, it won't be a shame. With earbuds, quality isn't really the biggest deal, right? It's all about the headphone scene when looking at quality.

In ears can produce some pretty nice SQ actually... They have improved a lot in the last ~3-4 years from what I've noticed.

Headphones are goofy! I prefer Ear buds...Unless I am just at home, in which case I use speakers.

My earbud knowledge, in terms of audio quality, is very limited.

However, I would sugget a few sites to check out to get some information on what you are lookin for

http://www.ultimateears.com/_ultimateears/products/superfi/index.php

http://reviews.cnet.com/headphones/philips-she-9850-in/4505-7877_7-32815655.html?tag=contentMain;compare

http://reviews.cnet.com/headphones/klipsch-image-s4-earphones/4505-7877_7-33577358.html?tag=contentMain;compare

In my honest opinion, at this cost, they are all going to meet your standards of audio quality, its just what seems to be in your comfort level. If they don't fit right, it wont matter how good the quality is, they will just be annoying!
