i just watched the new stargate its ok not great but it took me a few times watching to like. there not alot of hot chicks and not alot of stargate travel

Stargate was my favorite show for years and I guess it still is. I have seen every episode of SG-1, but I missed the last couple of seasons of Atlantis and I liked it just as much. Idk about this new one yet though. I miss some of the familiar faces, although it was nice to see Jack again, but this new series has more of a Battlestar Galactica or Babylon 5 feel to me, and neither of those were really my favorite shows (I HATED BSG lol). What I liked about Star gate is the amount of time they spend on planets and I just hope they dont get away from that. From the two episodes I have seen however it looks ok, and I have faith that they wont disappoint me. Until they destroy that faith lol . . .

its decent...but its getting interesting tho...each show.

Its boring imo, I loved sg1/sga but this is just dragging crap along for epps not any sense of tension is buildup like they did in sg1 (even before epp1 in the film we knew there were 'aliens' willing to get us)/sga (wraith rushed in first epp) - sgu... _nothing_ its like defying gravity with a little more action + a stargate.
