There is a lot to do, however the new updates have been rubbish but there is still a lot to keep you occupied.

runescape in some aspects suck for example graphics but it suites the game play though the format of the game is better there's numerous things to do. In d2 its basically all repetition

For a lot of people, RS was like their first MMO type game. Most people have moved on to different/better games but some people just chill in RS. It's not a bad game by any means.
