im making this list with some main stream (as far as death/black metal goes) bands as and introduction

if you like/listen to bands like slayer and venom and are looking for something a little more technical or just like the direction that music is going in i think you will enjoy giving these bands a listen

for all of you kids that are about to flame this post because you can't wrap your simpleton heads around the technicality of the music, just remember drum machines have no soul

and now for the list!!!!

Cannibal Corpse - most famous band by far (seen in the move Ace Ventura) good place to start
Cattle Decapitation
Necrophagist
Decapitated
Hypocrisy
The Black Dahlia Murder (some classify them as scene metal but imo they came first and they are definitely technical enough to deserve some respect)
Abigail Williams
Behemoth
Beneath the Massacre
Braindrill (yes i am scrolling through my playlists so it is going kind of in alphabetical order)
Cephalic Carnage
Children of Bodom
Deicide
Dying Fetus
The Faceless
Job For A Cowboy (mainly as a intro band i personally don't think to highly of this band but they are pretty mainstream and a decent intro band if you are new to death metal)
Lamb of God (pretty much the same as JFAC)
Meshuggah
Morbid Angel
Nile
Obituary
Skinless
Vader
Abysmal Dawn (know their guitarist personally, well worth looking into)
Warbringer (thrash metal, but again i know some guys in the band and worth looking into, neither of these bands are small both have full record deals so don't worry they are not some shitty garage stuff)
Origin (i could shoot myself for almost skipping them)
Cephalic Carnage (same as above)
Exhumed
Cryptopsy (i would stay away from their new stuff)
The Berzerker
Psycroptic
Suicide Silence (i guess, purely as an intro this is a pretty corssover hardcore/metal band and pretty scene, but if you are not used to death metal there it is)
Decrepit Birth
Animosity (same as SS)
The Sword
Mayhem
Immortal

kk im fucking tired and i know i left a few bands out that probably deserve to be up here

remember this is a list for anyone interested in getting into some more extreme metal, or for anyone wondering wtf we are all talking about when we say "blast beat" or "sweeps"

hope you enjoy feel free to give feedback or spam or flame
