ok.. so my friend wants to put some money into buying a system for his car(98 Toyota Rav4)

i think its kind of a joke because hes basically gonna get a new car in a year or so and the rav4 isnt in greatest shape

i cant talk him out of it, and basically we need ideas on what he should get

basically this is what we need:
Amplifier
Front Door Panel Speakers
Reciever
Sub

Maybe rear speakers too

i know how to set the system up(good with wiring) but have no clue what he should buy lol

i just need a setup with links togood items for good cost( about 500 max)

i greatly appreciate it, and try using crutchfield i hear its good

why are you or anyone here expected to tell him what to get?
have him make up his own mind.

and to get all that, he will need much more than $500.
cd deck: 120-200
speakers: 80-150
amp: 120-400 (is this just for his amp? for his speakers, or 2 amps 1 for 4 speakers 1 for a sub?)
sub: 80-150

and find that stuff that works the best for the setup within his budget and needs

*keep in mind i did not even include the wiring kits, wiring harnesses, and sub enclosure that will be needed. and its also a good idea to include a capacitor.
