Ok, I am about to get a new job, and to keep me motivated to work, I am going to be buying a New television.

Now, I want it 45"+, that's all I know.

3:2 Pulldown detection
Aspect Ratio
Brightness
Comb Filter
Display Capabilities
Display Technology
Dynamic Contrast Ratio
HD Compatible
Input Capabilities
Native Resolution
Refresh Rate
Response Time
Screen Size
True Contrast Ratio
TV Tuner
Video Processor
Viewing Angle

I keep seeing all this, what is really good in aspect to these stats.

Opinions? Got anything to recommend?

Also, Plasma or LCD?

Using it for xbox///movies

edit: I also want it to last a good 5 years.

What kind of a budget do you have? LCD's tend to last longer than plasma. Go with a 1080p LCD TV with a refresh rate of 60 Mhz (a 30 is a huge drop off in picture quality, ask a clerk to show you the difference). The lower the response time also the better.

I have a Samsung - LN52A530, and have had nothing bad to complain about yet.
